Mr. Fåhraeus is the founder of several international life science and technology companies, such as Cellavision AB, Precise Biometrics AB and Anoto Group AB. He is currently Board member of EQL Pharma AB (publ), CellaVision AB (publ), LU innovation AB, and Reccan Diagnostics AB. In addition to Longboat, he is the Chairman of FlatFrog Laboratories AB and Respiratorius AB (publ). He is the CEO of EQL Pharma AB (publ).

Mr. Anders Månsson, President & CEO

Mr. Månsson has more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He has held senior executive positions both abroad and at home, specializing in commercialization and business development with a substantial track record of major divestments, licensing and acquisitions. Mr. Månsson’s mission as CEO of Longboat Amniotics is first and foremost to turn the company’s discoveries, inventions and patents into value generating and workable business models. Mr Månsson is also a member of the board of Respiratorius AB (publ.), of CanIMGuide Therapeutics AB (priv.) and an Industrial Advisor in Life Sciences to Ratos AB (publ.).

Mr. Filip Strandqvist, Board Member

Mr. Strandqvist is an entrepreneur and business developer with the Perspektivgruppen group of companies. He has founded IT- and high tech companies within telecom, medical devices and consultancy services and has over 20 years of experience from the IT industry. He currently serves on the board of Perspektivgruppen AB and its subsidiaries.

Mrs. Christine Widstrand, Board Member

Mrs. Christine Widstrand is the EVP of LU Holding AB that supports and finances start-up companies and licensing deals coming from university research. Christine is responsible for the Life Science portfolio . She has more than 15 years of experience in research and development, including the start-up of academic companies. Valuable in this context is her international experience around the financing, licensing, sales and marketing obtained from roles as co-founder and / or director of several life science companies. Christine is one of the founders of MIP Technologies AB, now part of Biotage, where she had various management positions (CEO , CBO) 2000-2009.

Marcus Larsson

MD, Ph.D, and consultant in Pediatrics
Mr. Larsson is an consultant in Pediatrics at Skåne University Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics, Lund University. Mr. Larsson was the CEO of the company during the first two years and is currently a member of the board.

Andreas Herbst

MD and obstetrics phys.
Andreas Herbst is head of Obstetrics at Skane University hospital, associate professor at Lund University, and president of the Swedish Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is an experienced clinician in the obstetric field, and has been involved in clinical research during 30 years, with focus on perinatal asphyxia and fetal monitoring.

Niels-Bjarne Woods

Niels-Bjarne Woods is a founder, and Chief Scientific Officer of Longboat Amniotics AB. He is an award winning, highly accomplished stem cell researcher and Associate Professor at Lund University’s Stem Cell Center, Sweden, with over 20 years of experience in the field of stem cell biology and developmental hematopoiesis. He has led several highly innovative preclinical research programs towards understanding key biological mechanisms in stem cell differentiation. He is Director of the Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Facility, and Director of the Lund University Viral Vector Core Facility, Sweden. Niels-Bjarne’s publication record includes articles in international journals such as Nature, PNAS, Cell Metabolism, Cell Reports, Blood, and Stem Cells, Stem Cell Reports and is an inventor on 7 patents. Niels-Bjarne moved to Sweden 8 years ago after receiving postdoctoral training at the world renown Salk Institute for Biological Studies, La Jolla, California.
